WHERE TO START?

 

 

Welcome to "TEAM SMILE BOUTIQUE!" (AKA ROUTE 92) We are an incredibly close knit team who are always up for a challenge!

Inspired by Phil Johns, Proprietor, fund raiser and dentist extraordinar, we as a collective have put a lot of time and effort in to this odd, but yet inspiring Cycle Challenge. Phil Johns is all for doing weird and wonderful events to raise money for charity. For example, in 2008 he braved the summit of Mera Peak in the Himalayas in aid of Marie Curie. Once bitten by the great feeling of  charity fund raising, Phil has so far ran 4 half marathons with our receptionist Nat Fox for different children's charities and Cancer Research and his last challenge saw him and 2 other of our team members Dr. Rupee Hayes and one of our nurses Lindsey Koldan take off their shoes and socks and "hot step" across burning coals to raise money for Cransley Hospice.

 

SO......WHAT IS NEXT.....

 

After numerous staff meetings, a brainstorming board full of ideas we finally came to a decision upon which we all agreed. Unfortunately, Phil Bungee jumping wearing nothing but a tu tu and fairy wings or Wing Walking was not unanimous, there was  the one person who didn't think it was a good idea!!! (Wonder who that could have been!)

We came to the conclusion that it would be good to get all of the team involved. An idea was ignited.... Being the Official Dental Practice for our local League 1 Football Club, "Peterborough Utd" and the fact that many of our patients and staff are avid football fanatics we thought about visiting all the 92 League Football stadiums ........ On bikes!!!!!
